Hey everyone, how are you?

Today I must do some writing, as yesterday was a complete bust. I ended up falling asleep.

Today I have to go out to the lighthouse recovery centre. As I have a key worker session. Sadly, the creative writing group has finished for the year, so afterwards I will be coming home. I need to get to work writing as yesterday I failed in my writing task. I need to get going on my short story, as it has been a few days since I came back from Berlin, and when I had the idea on the plane back. I am annoyed with myself that I have not been writing. So, after I have been to my session I am going to be strict with myself and get the writing started.

I also need to get in some more drum practice. I have been practicing each day since I came back. Which is something that I am happy about, as it shows that I can stick to something. I am practicing a new rudiment, which is cool. It’s coming along well. I’m also doing the old rudiments and practicing exercises out of the Buddy Rich snare drum book. And slowly I am getting back to how I was before I went away.

I also want to get some more reading done today. I am still reading “Notes on A Nervous Planet” by Matt Haig. I have been reading more since being away. I think it was easier to read when I was away because there was very little television. Now that I am back, I am having to make sure that the television is not on, so that I do not get distracted. I want to finish the book in the next couple of days.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.
