Hey everyone, how are you?
Today, I need to get some writing done before some friends come over this afternoon.
After another night of broken sleep I have been spending the morning trying to catch up on the sleep that I missed. As I have had a tension headache and the painkillers made me sleepy. But now I need to get up and get some writing done. There are two different types of writing that I need to do:
- Writing for university stuff.
- Online course.
I know that I am not going to get all of it done before my friends come over. But if I can make a dent in it, then that would be something. Especially, as, I am still not a hundred percent with my mental health.
My friends are coming over mid to late afternoon. I am looking forward to seeing them and having a good catch up. It will be nice to talk to them, and they know that I am not great at the moment. But they always know how to cheer me up and make me laugh. I haven’t seen them in a while, because last time we were due to meet I came down with flu. And the last thing that I wanted to do was give it to them. So, it has been a while since we last had a proper catch up.
I also need to figure out, when I can go out and get a couple of things that I need. Particularly as I do not want to go out at all. But they cannot wait until tomorrow. I also need to get in a little bit of drum practice before my friends come over. As I know that we will be arranging a drum lesson. And I’d like to be able to say that I have managed to do some practice. I think I will try and get it done this morning, then I will not feel as thought the morning has been a complete waste.
