Crutches

Hey everyone, how are you?

Today I spoke to the physio who has been treating my knee and to help me walk easier I can use crutches. This is going to be good and bad.

Today

Thankfully I don’t have to go out today, but tomorrow I do and I have a lot of walking. So, using crutches is going to help me as it will be more support for my knee. Today, I am just walking around the house getting use to them. It has been ages since I’ve had to use them. I have also been putting ice on my knee off and on for five minutes. It has helped, even though it really stung. The physio doesn’t think that a scan or X-Ray will show anything. I see my doctor next week and will mention the trouble that I am having with my knee and he may suggest an X-Ray or scan of some sort. Will just have to wait and see.

I’m spending today doped up on medication. Which is sadly becoming the norm for me at the moment. My mood is still going down and pain is still getting to me. But there is not much that I can do about it, except do what I’ve been advised and take the painkillers. I may have a sleep this afternoon, because the painkillers are making me very tired that it is hard to concentrate on anything.

My other plans for the day involve being sat in front of a laptop. I want to get some writing done, and sort out some documents. I want to work on my new short story. Sorting out the characters and the scenes. I also want to get the poetry done as well. I also want to get on with some reading as I have many books that I want to get through. I also need to do some stuff for tomorrow. As I am busy tomorrow afternoon.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.

Annette
