Mother’s Day

Hey everyone, how are you?

This morning I am out, with my mum starting some celebrating for her birthday next week. It will be nice, and I get to see some people that I don’t see as often as others.

This morning

This morning is going to be different as I am going out early and will be back around lunch time. Part of it is to start celebrating my mums birthday which is next week. As well as it being Mother’s Day in the UK today. It will be good to go out in the morning as it means that I get to see some cool people, that I don’t often get to see. So, I am looking forward to it. It will be nice to spend some time with my mum as well, doing something that she wants to do. She does a lot for me and I really do appreciate it. I don’t know if anything else is happening throughout the day, or if we are just going to chill at home. We will be going out for her birthday in the week.

Also…

Also today I will be (at some point) getting on with some writing and some reading. I managed to get some of it done yesterday. I want to get on with the short story and try and salvage something from the wreckage of the first idea that I’d had. If I can’t do anything with it, then I will have to leave it and move on. I spent yesterday mostly reading and looking at the novel, as well as doing some stuff for a course that I am doing. It took up a lot of the day, and I don’t feel as though I was able to progress as much as I’d had hoped.

I also need to do some drum practice again today. I did a little yesterday but not a full practice session. So, I want to get a proper session in going through all of the reading exercises and the rudiments. Also, if I get the chance I may get in some more gaming as well. I did some yesterday and I am liking the new game so far. I have need to get a new controller at some point as one of mine is dying.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.

Annette
