Screen eyes

Hey everyone, how are you?

This morning I have just been staring at screens. It is starting to give me a headache.

Screen time

I am spending a lot of time looking at screens today. I am starting at the television, my phone and the laptop. As I have a lot of writing and forms to fill today. Writing wise I am looking at the novel and the short story. It is going well and I feel as though I am making some progress. I am hoping to get a draft of the short story completed today. I don’t know if it is going to be any good, but it is better to do something rather than nothing. The novel is both on the laptop as well as having a print out. It is going to take the rest of the day to look over what I have already written of the novel.

I also have to look at some other documents and fill in and email off a form. It is for funding for my PhD application, it needs to be in soon. All I have to do is fill it in and email it off. I have just been putting it off, as I am use to doing things last minute. It is something that I have always done and a hard habit to break. I also may get in some gaming, and I do have the television on as background noise when I am writing. Sometimes I find the silence suffocating.

I do have to go out (hopefully) at some point and get a prescription made. It will be nice to take a break from looking at screens and get some fresh air. It will be good to get out and it will lessen my anxiety when I have got about the prescription, as I am being messed about by my doctors surgery. I also want to get in some drum practice today as well. There are some stuff that I want to practice and get better at. It will also be a good distraction from the stuff that is going around in my head.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.
