Bank holiday weekend

Hey everyone, how are you?

It’s a bank holiday weekend and I am just chilling and getting on with things.

Bank holiday

This bank holiday weekend I am going to be chilling, along with getting on with some of the tasks that I have on my to do list. Most of the tasks are writing related and I am aiming to make progress on them. I am also going to be chilling and getting on with some gaming as I want to rest for the week ahead. I will be on my own with the cat for the bulk of the rest of the weekend, as my mum is away. She is going to see a friend and I hope that she has a good time. I am also looking forward to spending some time on my own.

Writing wise I really want to get on with the short story. As I have some time to myself, I can properly focus and concentrate. It is something that I have been struggling with over the week. But I am feeling in a better place and can properly concentrate. I aim to get a good chunk of the short story written, if not all of it. It will be the second draft written by hand. I can then leave it for a couple of days and then do the edit and type it up. I also want to take a look at the mental health story that I have started. As I feel as though I am in the right place to consider writing more of it.

I also have some forms and things to do and email off. Which I can do now that we have proper WiFi again. It’s not something that should take too long. Just something that I have been putting off. But need to get done now as the deadline is coming up. The form is to do with my PhD and I need to get it done. I also need to get on with some reading. Which as I have time and focus I feel as though I can get on with reading the fiction book that I have. I’m still reading “Fahrenheit 451” by Ray Bradbury.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.

Annette
