Resting and writing

Hey everyone, how are you?

Today is going to be a balancing act between resting and writing.

Yesterday, when I got in I was mega tired as I was still running on the little sleep I had got in the night. I was also soaked from the rain. So, even though it was just evening I got ready for bed and spent the rest of the time chilling. I was so ready for my bedtime to come around, so, that I could crawl in and hopefully have a decent night. I don’t know whether or not I will have had a decent night of sleep as this blog is scheduled so, I have not been asleep yet. But fingers crossed I do.

Today, I am going to be balancing resting and writing. I know that I have a lot of writing to catch up with. But am also aware that one night of sleep is not going to make up for the sleep that I lost the other night. So, for the morning, I going to be staying in bed and resting. I have no appointments in the diary for today. So, I can do as I please and not have to worry that I have to be somewhere for a certain time. I may spend the morning sleeping or reading. Something that doesn’t require a lot of brain work.

In the afternoon, I want to get on with some writing. I will have to pop out briefly, but it won’t be for long. Just need to get something that I didn’t do yesterday. I want to look at the novel that I started many years ago and finally decide whether or not to continue it or start over. I know what my gut is telling me but I want to be sure before I make the decision. I also have character sketches and scene settings to catch up with, from the last attempted short story.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.
