Hey everyone, how are you?
It’s finally the weekend and it cannot come soon enough. As this last week has been full on and I want to rest.
This weekend I am going to resting after a busy week. I do have some things that I want to get done this weekend. But I believe that resting is equally as important. It is just being kind to myself, which is something that I am trying to improve on. I am going to be getting in some reading today. I did not get a chance to read yesterday evening, so, want to do some today. I find that reading helps me to unwind and relax. I want to read some fiction and non-fiction over the weekend. As I have two books that are being read at the moment and I want to get some of each read.
Writing is something else that I want to do over the weekend. I am going to do things over the weekend that are from my WRAP plan. A plan that identifies what things help me to relax and distract myself from other things. And writing is one of those things. I want to write some general fiction, just some character sketches and scene settings. I also want to mind map out some new ideas for short stories. I don’t know if I will look at the novel, as I don’t know if I have the energy. I have a less busy week next week, so, will have a chance to look at it then.
Throughout the weekend there are other things that I want to do, such as drumming and gaming. The drumming will help me to get rid of any anxiety that I may have that had built up throughout the week. I also want to get in some gaming. It has been a while since I did some gaming. The PlayStation network has been down, hopefully it will be back up by then.
