Measure for Measure

Hey everyone, how are you?

Yesterday, I travelled with some friends to see “Measure for Measure” at the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Yesterday/Today

It’s been a really fun, but exhausting day. As we left early to travel up to Stratford upon Avon for around lunch time. The journey was good and we had such a laugh in the car. When we got here we met up with others before having drinks and a meal. There was a lot of laughter and chatter as everyone got on with everyone. We then went across to the theatre where we saw the play. It was a couple of hours long and very well performed. It was not a play that I knew, so, I read a quick summary before going. It was easy enough to follow though.

Afterwards there was a question and answer session with some of the cast. The bulk of people stayed for that. But I walked back to the hotel. Not because I was not interested, but because I was in pain. And needed to take some pain relief. But rather than go to bed, I waited up as we were all going to the bar in the hotel. I don’t know how long I will stay in the bar, as I am mega tired, but I will have at least one drink.

Today we are spending the day in the town. Some of us are going to a cafe where they rescue and adopt cats. I think some of us want to go around Shakespeare’s birthplace and do some other things. As well as shopping. Overall, it is going to be a chilled day, where we just do what we want to do. It will be an awesome day and the trip is just going to be a lot of fun.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.

Annette
