Hey everyone, how are you?
Today is going to be a writing day, as I have nothing else in the diary. And I have a ton of writing to get done.
The first thing that I need to write is to finish up my experience of Ireland. I have started it and just need to finish it off, whilst it is still good in my head. I like to write about these experiences because they can be used for creative ideas and also because it can be nice to look back on things. It is just something that I have gotten into the habit of doing lately. And I do not often go away so, it is nice to write about something that I don’t do much of. I aim to travel more in the years to come.
The second thing that I need to write is, the novel. Pick up where I left off before I went away. And get the first few chapters done. So that, it can be typed up and edited. I know that this is not a conventional way to do things. But it is unlikely that I am going to write the entire thing by hand. So, I want to get a feel for the story whilst writing by hand so that when I come to type it feels more natural. And there is nothing worse than staring at a blank screen. It should be a good day of writing, so long as, I do not get distracted. In order for this to not happen I am not going to put temptation in my way. I am going to make sure that the TV is off and that I have limited time on the internet.
I also want to get some more reading done throughout the day. I read some of a fiction book yesterday and I enjoyed what I read. I also have a new non-fiction book arriving at some point. It is a book that has been recommended to me my a medical professional. So, it is one that I want to read fairly quickly, so that, I can feedback to him at my next appointment. Apart from that I am putting myself on a book buying ban, until I have read ten books.
Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.
