Hey everyone, how are you?
It’s a new week and I am hoping that it will be better than the previous week. I have so much to do, that I need to be productive.
So, today, I am going to be at home most, if not all of the day. I am still on crutches so that has already thrown a spanner in the works as to what I was meant to do today. But I have got in contact with the person I was meant to be seeing and hopefully we can sort something out. Mostly, it will mean doing some stuff at home, rather than go into the university. Which means that I must be proactive and get things done, or at least started today. I am going to write a to do list as I find that helps me to get on with things. And I don’t want to waste a day, because of the pain that I am in.
I have a range of writing I that need to get on with. It means that I must sit at my desk and laptop and get on with things. I need to do some writing for the university and then I can focus on my own personal writing projects that I have. It must get done, otherwise I am not going to be happy with myself. I know that I get easily distracted and the main thing that I need to do is not put the television on. But instead put on some music as I have found that music aids my productivity.
The other thing that I need to do is to continue on reading a non-fiction book. I read some of it over the weekend and am getting between a third to half way through. I want to finish it before my doctor appointment on Wednesday. As it was a book that was recommended by him. I have not started a new fiction book yet. Although, I have selected which one I am going to read next. It is “White Noise” by Don Delillo.
