Writing all day…almost

Hey everyone, how are you?

I have been writing and writing, getting on with the novel. And today, I plan to do it again.

Yesterday/Today

Over the weekend I had decided to stop writing the novel in chronological order. As I had a plan for one of the later chapters and I wanted to get it out of my head and down onto paper. So, I started it and yesterday, I got a lot of it written. A few pages of hand written fiction and I feel as though the chapter I have been writing will be a critical turning point of the novel. I am happy with how it is turning out. I know that there are going to be changes that will have to be made as it is only a draft. But I am happy with the day of writing. And I want to continue it on today. As by the end of yesterday afternoon, I was tired and emotionally drained from what I had put the main character through.

Today, I am going to continue to write the chapter that has been in my head. And I am hoping to finish it. I don’t know how long it will take and I do have other writing that I need to get on with. But that is my aim for the day. I tend not to write in evening and I am expecting a phone call at some point. But apart from that I have the whole day clear to sit and write. Which is nice and not something that happens often. As I usually have appointments and stuff to go to. But this week is fairly free. I tend to rest in the evening and yesterday evening I got some reading done. I am reading a new fiction book. It is by an author that I have not read before and I am excited to get the book started.

Update

I wrote this without checking my diary and late yesterday evening I did. And found that I am seeing my lead practitioner today and not tomorrow. It was lucky I checked, otherwise I would have missed the appointment. I am not worried about it, as there are things that I want to discuss. But it will take a chunk out of my writing time.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.

Annette
