A writing start…

Hey everyone, how are you?

It’s going to be a writing start to the week. As I try and catch up with what I was not able to do over the weekend.

Writing

Over the weekend I started planning out my novel. And I want to continue this as it is giving me a chance to get to know my characters more and what makes them tick. I have a vague idea, obviously, but I want to get inside their mind and really find out more about them. Which also means that I have to get inside my mind and decide how I want them to be. What do I think that their values and beliefs would be and how I can weave it into the novel. I am using this site to help plan it my novel. I am finding it very helpful and I know where I am going with it. The direction of the novel has changed since I first started it. As I started the novel and got the initial idea a number of years ago.

I also have to do the work for the university, which is one of the things that I was not able to do over the weekend. I was not able to do it because I could not shake a headache. I ended up spending Sunday in a dark room trying to sleep it off. And that writing is what is going to be taking priority over the novel. As it is the day that I am usually in the university. Although I have not heard anything about needing to be in. And I am going to be in on Tuesday. I have been thinking about the chapter proposal which myself and a friend need to get in before the end of the month. So, it is going to be a busy day.

I do need to pop out and run some errands at some point during the day. It maybe something that I get done early as it is then out of the way. And that will mean that I can’t use it as a distraction later on in the day. I also want to read some more as that was another thing that I was not able to do over the weekend. My headache was so bad that there was nothing that I could do to shift it apart from sleep. It really got in the way of things. But I am hopeful that this week is going to be a good one. And that the stress that I have is going to start to go away.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.

Annette
