Day after Boxing Day

Hey everyone, how are you?

Today it is the day after Christmas Day, known in the UK as Boxing Day.

Today, I am not going to be forced out into the cold to walk round shops hitting the Boxing Day sales. I’d rather be at home spending some more time with my family and appreciating the things that I have been given the day before. Also, going out in large crowds would aggravate my anxiety and I could end up having a panic attack, which is not something that I want to happen. I want to spend some time getting in some gaming as I have some new games to play on the PlayStation. I also have some things to set up and charge. So, I have plenty of things to do today. I also want to give my mum a chance to rest as she has been very busy over the last few days and I want her to chill.

I also want to get on with some more reading. I got many books given to me and I have an even bigger pile on my desk to get through. This is before I can get through the piles that are at the end of my bed. Reading is one of the ways that I chill and relax. Sometimes I read fiction the other time non-fiction. I usually have one book of each on the go at the same time. I also may get some writing in, although, I am still not going to force myself. As today, is still part of the Christmas season and I do not want to start stressing myself out. That being said, I will have to do some writing over the weekend and at the end of the week.

I also want to get on with some drum practice as well. It’s been a while since I last got some practice in, so, it’s time to get some practice in. I will just be practicing some simple beats and the rudiments that I know. I just want to ease myself back into it and go over the basics and build up my speed and technique. I have plenty of time today to do it, so, I will try and get a long session in. I am also thinking about joining a drumming site that is run by someone I follow on instagram. It looks really good and it is constantly updated and new lessons are put online. So, I may sign up today.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.
