Hey everyone, how are you?
I am at home all day today, so, that means writing.
I need to write today, no matter how bad my head and mood is. Yesterday, I went out and that exhausted me and I crashed out asleep for a few hours afterwards. The main thing that I want to focus on today, is research and transcribing. They are things that I cannot put off for much longer. I have deadlines coming up. So, I need to knuckle down and get it done. I have some journals that I need to print off and read. I cannot read on a device because of my dyslexia. It makes the lines blur and the words jump around. I find printing them off is the best way, to read them. Once I have read them I will go through them again, highlighting the relevant parts and make some notes.
The transcribing will be slightly easier. I don’t know how much of it I am going to be able to get done. It takes hours just to type up a few minutes. I do want to finish the audio file that I have started this week. As I have been working on it for a while, but have also left it for a long time as well. But it needs to get done, so, I just need to bite the bullet and get it done. I think I am roughly half way through the audio file, but I am not certain. I did think of writing the file by hand and then typing it up but I think that this will just take longer.
Apart from writing, the only other thing that I will do today is to read some more. It is the only thing that I can do that doesn’t involve a screen. I am still in a lot of pain and screens make it worse. So, I have read a lot in the past few days and I am enjoying it. The pain has been so much that it has stopped me from doing a lot of things. I am seeing the doctor later this week and I really hope that he can do something. At least until I see a specialist next Monday. If that doesn’t help, then I am going to go and get my eyes tested as I wear glasses and it’s the only other thing that I can think of that would be giving me such bad headaches. But back to today and it is just going to be a writing day.
Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.
