Hey everyone, how are you?
I’ve got more writing to do today, after a good writing session yesterday.
I am writing more today, as I am still buried in a pile of books and documents. It is good to have a couple of days where I am able to write and not feel tired all of the time. I have a less busy week coming up so more writing will be done, when compared to last week. But today, I am just continuing on from yesterday. I will be finishing off the section of the book chapter, I am waiting on an article to read and potentially reference in the chapter. I will then move on to the next section which I have started the mind map for. The mind maps help me to plan out what I am going to write and the order in which it is going to be written. It helps with my dyslexia to have it done like this. And once I have the mind map I can just get on with writing the first draft and not worry about missing things out.
One of the things I do when I am writing, is talk things through with my mum. She is a good person to talk to and bounce ideas off of. It was good to talk though what I was writing for the book chapter and what was in my head for the next section. It helps along with a mind map or two. So it was a good day and an especially good afternoon, talking in the sun drinking pints and having dinner. Today, I don’t think there’s going to be any drinking, so, it will be full on writing. I still need to do the mind maps for my short story and novel. So, that is the plan for the day. I also want to chill for a bit and read. I read last night and it was good, have almost finished “The Hunger Games.” Which I am enjoying, although still unsure if I will read the other two books in the trilogy.
Whilst I was outside yesterday drinking and talking writing with my mum, I ordered some low volume hi hats and cymbals, as well as a hi hat stand. It was a moment of madness, but something I was planning to do. So, I also need to clear up my room before they arrived on Monday and Tuesday.
Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.
