Hey everyone, how are you?
I’m no longer is an extreme amount of pain, as the treatment yesterday was a success.
I had my treatment yesterday afternoon and by the end of the session there was no pain going into my head. And my neck and shoulders had been treated. I am a little sore from where the treatment has been done, but that is to be expected and will settle down in a couple of days. I cannot take any anti inflammatory medication for a couple of days otherwise I will undo the work that has been done. But I can take other forms of pain relief. When I got home, I had something to eat and crashed out asleep for a couple of hours. The treatment can make you dopey so I often have a sleep when I’ve had this treatment. I do have to go back in a month for a review, but I am hoping that everything will be okay.
Today, I will be able to pull the curtains back in my room and not wince in pain. I have a meeting in the morning and need to do some writing in the afternoon. I am looking forward to just being able to write and not have to think when I can next take any pain relief, it will be strange. I have a meeting in the morning like I usually do on a Wednesday and then I will possibly chill for a bit, before getting on with some more writing in the afternoon. I do have a doctor appointment at some point in the afternoon. It will be over the phone and I don’t know what time it will be. But I need to speak to him because I have got a cat scratch that I think might be infected. So, I want to run it past him and see if I need any antibiotics.
Depending on what time the doctor calls, I will have to go out and get my medication from the pharmacy. I put a prescription in over the weekend and it was approved on Monday. So, it was automatically sent down the pharmacy and I just need to pick it up. But if I do not have time today, then I will only be able to go on Friday. As tomorrow I have a busy day and do not have the time to go out. Otherwise I will be writing today and catching up on things that I missed yesterday. It should be a good day.
Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.
