Hey everyone, how are you?
It’s a new week and one that is not going to be anywhere near as stressful as last week.
I have some things that I need to do today, as I was away for part of the weekend and spent the other part recovering. The first thing that I have is a meeting in the morning and it will be good to check in with some other people. People who understand what it’s like to have the mental health diagnosis that I have. As yesterday, although a good day, was also a hard day to get through. I’m hoping that I get a good night of sleep and can start the week on the right footing. I also have writing that I need to do and editing. I don’t have a meeting until Wednesday about the book chapter. But I will go through what I have written so far and see what needs changing. I also want to do some other writing on the novel as I didn’t get any done over the weekend. As I was conscious that yesterday was not going to be easy and I wanted to not be stressed out before hand.
I also have some phone calls to make and other little things to do. Nothing overly important but some quick wins off the to do list. I also want to get some drum practice in. I have just got some stick grips which should stop the friction burn pain that I am getting. I put one load on a pair last night and it will be my first practice with them, so, hopefully they will work well. I also have some reading that I need to do and want to do. As there is a book that I want to finish and others that I want to start. But most of the day will be taken up with writing and editing. I don’t have any appointments this week, just some general meetings. So, I may take the opportunity to look into my PhD proposal more. It will all depend on time.
The one thing that I want to make sure that I don’t do is rush into everything and burn myself out again. I know that my mental health is at a very vulnerable state right now and I need to make sure that I look after it more. I know that I am still tired so I may have a rest after I have done some writing and editing for a little bit.
Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.
