A Long Day Ahead

Hey everyone, how are you?

It’s going to be a long day today, as I have appointments.

I may not have time for any fiction writing today, but one of the appointments that I have is for the mental health book chapter. We are meeting up online to chat about the chapter and what we need to do to finish it off and get it to the editor. It will be good to have it done and then do any changes that the editor wants. It will also be good to catch up with my co author as we have not spoken for a couple of weeks. I have really enjoyed the process of writing the book chapter and hopefully will be able to do more projects like this in the future. It is not until late afternoon, but I have other things that are in the diary as well.

The other main appointment that I have is for physio therapy. I am a little anxious about it though, as she does not want me to take any pain relief that morning. I would have preferred the appointment in the morning if she didn’t want me to take any medication. I wake up in pain and am in pain throughout the day, so this feels unwise. There is one pain medication that I can only stop if the doctor tells me to, which he hasn’t, so I will take that one. But I will try and not take the others unless it gets unbearable. I have also been doing the exercises for the physio therapy and I notice that I am in more pain when I have missed a day, so, they must be doing something.

I also need to go out to the pharmacy provided that my prescription has been approved. It is likely that I will go after my physio appointment. As I don’t want to have to go out later on in the week. It will be a short trip to the high street and shouldn’t take long. It is going to be a busy day, as I want to try and squeeze in some more drum practice as well.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.
