Hey everyone, how are you?
I am back home from the hospital and I now have the weekend to catch up on writing.
I have writing from the week that I want to finish. Most notably the second chapter of the short story, “Virtual Reality.” I am close to the end so I am hoping that I get it done over the weekend, but I am not going to make any promises. As I don’t want to pressure myself as I know that my mental health, although better, is still rather fragile. And I know that if put too much pressure on myself I know that it will stress me out. I am still really enjoying the short story and the process of writing it. But I don’t want to stress myself out about it. If I do finish the chapter, then I won’t be editing until sometime in the week. So that, I can look at it with fresh eyes.
I also may look at the edits that need to be made for the book chapter. Although my co author has told me to only do that if I feel up to it. And that we will get a meeting done in the next week. So, if I get a chance I will look at it over the weekend. But if not then I won’t worry about it. I also want to get in some reading. I took a book to the hospital with me but didn’t feel much like reading at the time. I am still reading “Middle England” by Jonathan Coe, it is the third book in the “Rotters Club” series. I am enjoying it and want to get a good chunk read this weekend. So, although I have things that I want to catch up on today and tomorrow. I am also going to make sure that I do things that keep me relaxed and chilled.
Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.
