Hey everyone, how are you?
I’m going to be sat at my desk for most of that day writing and editing and attending meetings.
In total I have three meetings today, all about mental health and mental illness one way or another. But in between these meetings, I will be sat at my desk editing the book chapter and starting to write the next chapter of the short story Virtual Reality. It is going to be a long day, but I feel good about it as I had a restful day yesterday. And I feel more refreshed and ready to get going on some more writing. Between the writing and the editing, it will be the editing that I will need to focus on more. This is because I have a deadline for the editing and it is a week and a half away. I will be meeting with my co author at the end of the day to discuss the changes that we have made and what we need to do next.
I am looking forward to getting started on the third chapter of Virtual Reality. I have a plan for the chapter already done. So, all I need to do is sit and write. I still have not decided whether this will be the final chapter and have an epilogue, or keep it to four chapters, like I initially planned. I think I will decide once I have written the third chapter and see how I am feeling then. I know that the final chapter is going to be different to the rest of them and I want to make sure that I wrap everything up but also leave the reader wondering. But like I say, I will cross that bridge when I get to it.
When I am done for the day I want to get some more reading in. I read yesterday and am getting close to finishing the non-fiction book that I am currently reading. I know that I want to read a fiction book next as I have missed not reading fiction over the last week. I also need to get on with some drum practice at some point in the day. I have got some practice pad rudiment practice in over the last couple of days, but I want to get back on the kit and blast out some beats. The only thing that is holding me back is that I have some RSI in my left wrist so I am waiting on a splint to help with it.
Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.
