Hoping For…

Hey everyone, how are you?

I am hoping for a restful weekend, after a busy week.

By the end of yesterday, I was so tired that it was hard to think straight. I had a meeting about the book chapter and I don’t know if we are going to meet today or not. But I am hoping that there is not much left to do and that we can send it back to the editor. I am planning on a restful day, where I can just do as I please rather than meet appointments and deadlines. As I know that I need a chance to rest up other wise I will burnout and that will not be good for me or the people around me. That does not mean that I won’t do any writing over the weekend, it just means that I will choose how much I want to do, rather than how much I need to do. I want to write more of the third chapter of the short story. I am thinking about it a lot and want to get it down on paper.

I also want to spend some time gaming and reading. I still cannot drum because of the repetitive strain injury I have to my wrist. But I can watch some videos on drumming techniques that I have been meaning to watch for a while now. But gaming abs reading are the main things that I plan to do aside from fiction writing. I don’t know which games I will play yet. I have so many that I have started and need to finish. I have started a new fiction book. It is by Dennis Leanne, the author of “Shutter Island” which I thoroughly enjoyed. The book I am currently reading is called “Mystic River.” And what I have read so far, I have enjoyed and am curious to how it is going to develop.

I know that having a restful weekend will help me both physically and mentally. As it will help with my thinking and processing of information. I also know that I need to get better sleep and not wake up in the middle of the night to watch television. It has become a bit of a habit that I need to stop.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.
