Meeting Then Writing

Hey everyone, how are you?

I have a meeting then an afternoon of writing ahead of me today.

Today

It’s another day at home because of lockdown and I have no where that I need to go. I have a meeting in the morning and before the lockdown that would have been in person. It will last for just under an hour in the morning and when it is done the rest of the day is mine for writing. I will spend the afternoon writing as there are things that I need to get done on the to do list. I have both fiction and non-fiction writing to do and I am looking forward to it. The non-fiction writing is simply to finish off a blog post that I meant to do yesterday. I have almost finished it. When I looked at the document I realised that I have done more than I thought I had.

Fiction writing wise I want to focus on the third chapter of the short story and the novel. I need to get the third chapter done and uploaded as I don’t want it to linger like the second chapter did. As it becomes more like a chore than something that I enjoy writing. With the novel that is a constant work in progress. And it is something that I have not looked at in a while, but have been thinking about. So, I want to look at it and add to it whilst I am thinking about it. I find with the novel that there are times when I am more motivated to write it than other times. But I am still really involved with the characters and how things are going to work out or not work out in their lives.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.

Annette
