Getting Pain Under Control

Hey everyone, how are you?

Today it is round two of the fascial manipulation treatment that I am having to get rid of the tension in my head, neck and shoulders.

Fascial Manipulation

I was hoping that the pain would have subsided after the first treatment. But for the most part, it has got worse and I am thankful that I booked a second appointment for today. The pain that I have been in has had an effect on my mental health in the week. As I mentioned in a previous blog, I got very low and ended up in a place of safety for just under twenty four hours. And it has stopped me from doing a lot of things and I have projects and other things that I want to do piling up. As I spend most of my time in the dark with a small bedroom light being the only amount of light that I can tolerate.

The treatment is not until the afternoon and it will take an hour or so to get to the clinic. In the morning, there is a meeting that I would normally go to. But I am not sure if I will be able to, as looking at screens is one of the things that makes the tension headaches worse. Even writing this blog on my phone, even though it doesn’t take that long, brings on the pain. Before I go to the appointment, I need to pick up a form from the doctor surgery and need to fill it in and get it back to them as soon as possible. As I have an exemption card that is going to run out at the end of the month and it needs to be renewed. I also need to get my medication from the pharmacy. I don’t know if I will do that today or leave it until further along in the week. I think it will all depend on time and level of pain.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.
