Hey everyone, how are you?
I have a couple of meetings today including a key work, but once it’s done I will be done for the week.
I have meetings, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. The meeting I have in the morning which will be for an hour and then the later one will be for up to an hour max. I am looking forward to the later meeting, which is a key work session with my key worker. We have not spoken for a while as she was off and it was just my lead practitioner checking in. But now, we are back to alternating key works and I am happy with that. It will be good to get back into a more normal routine. As my key worker and lead practitioner have slightly different roles. With my lead practitioner having a more clinical role in my recovery. The other meeting that I have, I cannot say too much about as it is not just me in the meeting and a lot of what is said is in confidence.
One thing I will do to kick the day off is to get in some more gaming in the morning. Yesterday I finished Yakuza 4 and completed a bit more of Assassins Creed Valhalla. I had planned to get some writing done, but ended up gaming. That being said, I did do some more planning for the next academic article that my co author and I have in mind. I am making a mind map on the computer, as it suits my dyslexia better, and will get that finished either today or the start of next week. My meetings will still give me some time in the afternoon to do some more of the mind map before I switch the laptop off for the weekend. Gaming helps to relax me and it is something that I wanted to do yesterday even though it is not what I planned.
I will admit though, that it was good to sit and make more of the mind map. I just need to now get my focus back and be more productive. One thing that helps me to focus is to put some music on. It doesn’t matter what type of music, whatever I feel like listening to at the time. I associate music with study and writing as it is something that I have always had on when doing these things.
Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.
