Busy Week

Hey everyone, how are you?

After being unwell for most of last week, lots of things have piled up and I am drowning in paper.

I need to focus and catch up on the projects that I have on the go at the moment. Being unwell last week has put me back a bit, but I know that if I get my head down that I can get it done. And I am also taking steps to improve my concentration which in turn, will improve my output. I am reminding myself that the perfect day to do something will never come so the best thing is to just get on with it. As I do each week, I will write out a to do list and that will make it clear in my head the things I need to achieve and the appointments that I have in the week. It is also a reward system, as it is a good feeling to be able to cross things off of the list.

Today, is one of the few days in this week where I do not have anything specific in the diary. Although this does not include the group meeting I go to most days. It is more that I don’t have anything else except for the group meeting. It means that I can spend the day getting on with some research and writing. I may pop out in the afternoon to get a prescription made up, but it will depend on whether the prescription is approved quickly and sent to the pharmacy quickly. So, I may not be able to go out until later on in the week. I will play it by ear. But really, I want to make sure that I get a significant amount of writing done.

Aside from writing and researching for both fiction and non-fiction projects, I want to get on with some reading. My reading last month slowed after a good start to the year. I am wanting to finish the current book I am on and then get another one read in quick succession. I am aiming for reading three books this month. I read a lot in the evenings, but it is a habit I have got out of lately, so it is something that I need to pick up again.

Thank you for reading and I hope that you have a good day.
